How to Operate the BL-SC380 Hand-Push Thermoplastic Road Marking Machine

1. Pre-Operation Setup

  • Ensure all components are properly assembled and the machine is positioned on a flat surface.
  • Connect the 15kg LPG tank to the heating system and inspect for any gas leaks before ignition.
  • Fill the thermoplastic tank with qualified road marking paint. Avoid overfilling.

2. Heating and Mixing

  • Ignite the burner and heat the thermoplastic paint to 180–210°C.
  • Use the manual vertical stirrer to evenly mix the paint during the heating process.
  • Once melted, preheat the marking shoe and glass bead dispenser to avoid clogging.

3. Marking Operation

  • Align the guiding rod with the road’s reference line to ensure marking accuracy.
  • Unlock the rear wheel directional device for straight-line control or keep it off for free movement.
  • Push the machine at a steady pace (recommended: 1.5 km/h) and activate the glass bead dispenser.
  • Use the scraper-type shoe to control line width and thickness (adjustable from 1.0–3.0 mm).

4. Shutdown and Cleaning

  • Turn off the burner and allow the tank and marking shoe to cool naturally.
  • Clean the shoe and dispenser with appropriate tools to avoid paint solidification.
